About me

Hi I’m Michael Williams.

I’m a licensed professional counselor in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Kent State University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Akron. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating chronic depression, dysthymia, and complex trauma (C-PTSD, borderline personality, relational, or developmental trauma).

My approach blends evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT) with mindfulness, compassion, breathwork, meditation, and yoga—supporting both mind and body in the healing process. I offer walk-and-talk or hiking sessions in Northeast Ohio parks, as well as telehealth therapy throughout the state.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can find balance, resilience, and meaningful growth.
